Character Information
Name: Surolam Arcel
Canon: Pokemon
OU/AU/CRAU/OC: OC+CRAU
World info: Basically a simulated world inside a supercomputer the size of the universe. As of now it's mostly a blank void with various buildings and such dotted around it.
History: We Could Be application
However, while this Surolam has all these memories, she is in fact an AI construct copied from the original Surolam, brought into a murdergame by the ghosts from Pacman, who had fused with Pacman, chained it to their wills, and moved on to devour their entire universe, converting it into a supercomputer. Out of a desire to "understand" humans, they put her and a bunch of other AI copies through multiple murdergames, changing the variables and wiping their memories each time.
In the most recent cycle, though, things finally started to change. The cast started to regain memories of previous games they'd been through, when this had never happened before. Despite this, it wasn't yet enough to put all the pieces together, and the game continued. Surolam flirted around with both her fellow captives and their overseer, got into a relationship with Yuri Leclerc and Luca Balsa, and then lost them both two weeks after the other.
Finally, after their overseer was deleted for showing too much sympathy to them, the Four In One (the ghosts' word for themselves) attempted to delete and reset the cast again, but instead they ended up "backstage," where they were able to find the last pieces of the puzzle. Pacman attempted to devour them, but instead they were confronted with the "Lost Souls" of all the dead, and bring them back to themselves. Surolam was finally reunited with her lovers, shouting out her love until it reached their hearts, and the group finally broke free of the constructed world altogether, leaving them in a blank white plain.
Pacman and the Four In One were also reborn as Kirby, innocent and carefree and ready to be friends with everyone. The group had also gained complete control over the supercomputer, able to create whatever they wished. There were various plans made, about how to travel to other universe for real, and create their own world via a virtual Big Bang, but for now they would simply revel in being reunited and free from the cycle.
Canon point: Fairly soon after seizing control of the supercomputer
Age: Mentally 18, has existed in a time loop for around a hundred subjective years
Personality: Surolam is an empathetic person by nature, who wants everyone to have as much freedom as they desire. She cares deeply for inanimate objects as well, and does her best to treat them tenderly and not damage things unduly. Part of her still prefers to talk to them over people, partly because that's how things have been most of her life, and partly because hardly anyone else does. While she used to hide this power of hers more, she's much more open with it these days.
She wants to make a difference in the world, and believes strongly that her party has been able to do so, both in the places they've visited and the items she's found a place for. While she's left her old wealthy life behind, she does speak into more formalized speech patterns sometimes. She's soft-spoken and sweet-voiced by default, but can easily shift to making quiet, subtle threats in a similar tone. Her more actively aggressive side tends to come out in her hybrid and full dragon forms.
Transformation is almost second nature to her by now, and she often takes on her hybrid form as a default. Her draconic form, which is much larger and flight-capable, allows her to fully express her bloodthirsty and violent side, and she usually takes on that form in combat unless she wants to take advantage of people underestimating her. With Little Pummerin's help, she can also cast various curses to weaken her opponents, a tactic she uses to occasionally supplement her natural abilities.
Surolam loves fiercely and somewhat possessively. She cared deeply for the rest of her party, and reacted poorly to the idea of being separated from them. While she is polyamorous and is open to her partners having other lovers, being explicitly rejected in favor of another can bring out the worst in her. She mostly has this under control, at least enough not to get violent about it. She can also hold grudges quite strongly-she still resents Antariksha for everything she did working actively against the party for so long, and while she can be civil about it, she much prefers it when the other android is off on her own missions.
The reveal of her nature and the many games she's been through has changed things for her, somewhat. Most grudges she's had against her fellow captives have softened greatly, due to having various memories of more positive experiences, and also memories of having murdered some of them already. She still vaguely misses her party, but her memories of her fellow captives now occupy much more space in her mind, and they've become her new source of devotion. She is also somewhat clingy with Luca and Yuri, after she lost both of them so quickly in succession.
Character changes: Since I'm taking her from post-game, the most likely effect of others will probably be to influence how she and her fellow castmates go about creating their world. It'll also give her an outlet for frustrations that might naturally arise from being stuck in a void with twenty-something other people.
Capabilities:
-Surolam is used to being blind by now, and can navigate fairly well in even low-light situations. Her hearing is also somewhat sharper.
-Surolam can talk to inanimate objects, and they respond to her. The older they are, the closer they are to sapience and understanding, though they do have their own personalities and loyalties, so electronic locks won't necessarily give up their combinations to her, and buildings won't just give information about the people who use them to her. Mostly this will probably be a flavor ability, unless she's specifically allowed to use it in an event to get extra information, and I won't have her use it on other people's personal items without their permission. The fact that her entire world is simulated probably also makes this kind of weird.
-When holding her bell, Little Pummerin, Surolam can curse her opponents in various ways. The current curses she knows are to make them clumsier, make them terrified of her enough to immediately flee, and to prevent them from moving. The curses often manifest in the form of ghostly chains that trip or bind opponents.
-If Surolam cares deeply enough for someone, and they in return, and they both agree, she can form a bond between them. It allows her to increase their accuracy and damage in combat, and increases her own combat abilities when one of her bonded is attacked. Two bonded people can also communicate wordlessly, sense each others' direction, and recognize the other in any circumstance. Even if a bond is broken, they retain the abilities of communication and recognition. Naturally, I would not use this ability without full permission.
-Surolam has fully unlocked her dragon heritage, and can transform into a golden dragon. In this form, she is capable of flight despite being wingless, and her scales are rough enough to scratch if rubbed the wrong way. Her sense of smell also gets much stronger, allowing her to even track people by scent. She also has some limited control over the air, such that she can resist being forcibly directed by the wind. She is strong enough to carry up to two average-sized people in this form as well. She is also capable of partial transformations, growing only teeth/claws/horns/tail/scales, or any combination of the aforementioned.
-Surolam is essentially omniscient in her current world, and can change herself and her environment as she wishes. She's stuck to regaining her original abilities for now, and simply working together with her two boyfriends to set up a house. This ability is still new to her, and she's unlikely to use it casually as of now.
